Postpartum Doula. I support and hold space for families navigating through one of life's biggest transformations. I offer caring, thoughtful, supportive, unbiased, non-judgemental assistance to all members of the family in a calm, compassionate manner.
What is a postpartum doula?
A postpartum doula is a trained support professional whose role is to support everyone in the family, with no judgement or biases.
A postpartum doula:
- Offers non-judgemental, unbiased emotional support to help ease the emotional ups and downs of early parenthood;
- Provide newborn care guidance to support with soothing, sleep, diapering, baby cues, and bonding;
- Extends feeding support by assisting with breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping and referrals if needed;
- Gives practical help including light household tasks, meal prep, and helps create a calm home environment;
- Empowers parents by providing evidence-based information
